I have this problem with eyeliner??? i currently use the rimmel london black kohl eye pencil.....it applies fine but within 5 minutes it smudges really badly even if im only wearing a tad...it looks really bad... when this happens is it called having water marks or something?? anyway... what eyeliner should i buy??? i have to be able to get it in boots or superdrug.... (live in uk)....or is it just the way im applying it???

i use max factor black eyeliner (the cheapest :) ) and that applies great and stays on the whole day. you could also try the liquid eyeliner and see if that works for you.

Make sure that you don't rub your eyes until awhile after applieing the eyeliner.

i use eyeliner all the time and i use the prestige it was only like 10 dollars and you can get it at CVS and it works. also you might want to only put on a little and then smudge it on purpose with a sponge brush. it works for me and i get lots of compliments on how it looks. or you could talk to somebody who works at sephora or the make up counter at rimmel london.

well, this happens to me like all the time lol, but I get the cheap eyeliners coz thats all I can afford. (im twelve, dont get much money) and then I tried an expensive tester eyeliner on in marks and spensers and it didnt smudge at all! So Its probably because you get cheap nasty ones or its coz you rub your eyes whilst having it on or you might be one of those people that has really watery eyes that makes it smudge. hope I helped :)

um , any cheap store will have eyeliner that doesn't smudge because it is harder, not soft. if you aren't concerned bout quality

otherwise, go to the mall and ask the make-up stands to experiment on ya. look up name brands and find the one that works for you. don't go w/super expensive stuff right off the bat, cause its easy to waste money of stuff that doesn't work.

I have that problem as I have really watery eyes. I was using NYC black eyeliner pencil but now I use the avon black eyeliner pencila s my mam does avon and it's really good and only ï¿¡1.50 I paid for it. Hope that helps =]

well if your applying it on your bottom inner eyelash use a pencil.

if you use liquid eyeliner use a waterproof one. i sugest mac.

Just experiment wih different eye liners !
You should find something to suit your make up needs !!

That happens with some eyeliners... If you guys in the UK have like a sephora or an Ulta get eyeliner from their... Ulta has GREAT eyeliner really cheap that lasts all day! Glad to help! :D

no no no dont use that.
the best eyeliner in shops is bourjois paris eyeliner. its goes on ded easy and stays on and doesnt smudge.
get it from boots.
